BIYC Founded in 2020 by John and Lizza Lundin holders of NORTH SEA BOAT PT LUNDIN INDUSTRY INVEST, the Banyuwangi international Yacht Club opens to the public on 30thSeptember 2020 with the consent of Mr. Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, current Minister of Maritime and Investment Affairs and Mr.Abdullah Azwar Anas, ex Regent of Banyuwangi.
The Yacht Club brings until now 2000 member from 15 nationalities, with intent when this pandemic ends to bring the Highest number of visitors to Banyuwangi (second tourist destination in Indonesia after Bali).
Banyuwangi International Yacht Club plays a dynamic leading role in the life of Pantai Boom main port, according to its statutes and mission which are for the Club to serve as “a link between those who love the sea and the interests of tourism and promoting the Pantai Boom and Banyuwangi city”.
At 8 ° 12’31.4”S 114 ° 22’59.6 “E, Yacht Club is a mix of Jawa and western design, outside a large terrace surrounding the restaurant and a garden where customers can relax and enjoy the panorama of the Kawah Ljen volcano and of course the luxuriant yachts. Inside a modern and vintage design that represents a meeting between a new and old marina.
